Been busy the last few days

Here are some short stories.



M

When were digging one time, Tom somehow managed to cut himself. So he was the first casualty of the dig lol. A day or two later, we were eating lunch and Tom saw a cat outside so he wanted to close the window to prevent the cat from getting in but the cat suddenly jumped which freaked Tom out. While he was being spooked, Tom accidentally hurt his thumb by bending it. So I said to Tom, "Tom why do you like to hurt yourself?" He said he doesn't know and he couldn't help it. Eventually Chen started asked him why he like to hurt himself too.

Sleeptalk

We were talking about sleeping one time, and I mentioned about Joran's sleeptalk. I said Joran sleep talked sometimes and people asked what he was saying. I said he was speaking Dutch. Joran then asked, "what was I talking about?" I replied, "Joran, does it look like I can speak Dutch?"

Snoring

Ed's snores were really loud. Like they were LOUD, like Seung-wan loud. One time we(Erin, Daniela, Joran, Ed, me)  were talking about snoring, Ed was saying his snores weren't that loud then either Erin or Daniela said,  "we can your from next door!" Yes Ed, your snore was that loud.

Yanagiya san knows Alberta
One night, I was sitting there in the lobby. Yanagiya san asked me if I went to UofA. I said no. Then he proceeded in bringing his Eric Clapton CD collection and showed me the song, Alberta. I didn't know why and I still don't have any idea why he showed me the CD.

Sumo
It was sumo season in July and everytime we got off digging, sumo would be on tv. We were watching sumo and the whole pre-game ritual took forever but the actual match only lasted for less than 10 seconds. Hugh said, "so we waited all that time just for a 5second game?"

我們在挖掘的某天. Tom不小心被鏟子/鋸子割到流血. 他也很幸運的成為我們第一位受傷的成員. 大概不久後, 有一天我們在吃午餐的時候他發現外面有一隻貓. 他很順手的把窗戶給關了起來結果那隻貓突然跳了起來. Tom被嚇了一條害他手自己不小心撞到玻璃. 就因為那樣他手有多了傷. 後來我跟Tom說"Tom 你為什麼那麼喜歡傷害自己? 說到最後連陳小姐都開始這樣笑Tom.

 夢話

有一次我們在討論睡得好不好的話題. 我提到Joran會說夢話的事而且是用荷蘭文說.Joran問我哪他到底說了些什麼. 我回他"我看起來是會說荷蘭文的人嗎?"

打呼

又有一次我們在討論睡得好不好的話題. 我說Ed的打呼聲真的很大聲. 他說根本沒有那麼大. Daniela/Erin說"拜託, 連我們睡隔壁的都聽得到."

柳谷老闆知道什麼是Alberta

有一天晚上我坐在大廳沙發上發呆. 柳谷老闆就突然我問說我是不是UofA的學生. 我說不是我說我念溫哥華的大學. 他聽到後就開始在翻東西, 我想奇怪老闆到底在找什麼啊? 他遞給我Eric Clapton的CD然後指著Alberta這首歌. 我很尷尬的說喔...對就是這個Alberta. 我到現在還是不明白為什麼他要給我看那首歌. 我明明就跟他說我不是念那裡的啊......

相撲

7月的時候是相撲季(其實我也不太確定), 我們每天挖完都會回旅館看電視轉播. 記得第一次看的時候, 我們開始從前面的儀式開始看. 儀式搞了很久才好結果好不容一開始, 結果不到10秒就分出勝負了. Hugh就說"我們等怎麼就只是看這5秒的比賽?" 結果最後Hugh變成我們這群人中對相撲最狂熱的人.
